After sending an Independence Day SMS to my sister in law, I realized that I should post this video of Capt. Lal reciting some Urdu Poetry during another one of our Sher o Shayri evenings that we enjoyed last year. He starts off with a patriotic poem by Bismil Allahabadi, a great freedom fighter and a patriotic poet in his own way. Rest of the video contains random Urdu Poetry out of his diary. Enjoy!
