The Princess Bride

Thanks to Brandon, tonight I watched a good movie, Princess Bride. I didn’t fall in love with it, but I guess a writer like me can use any reason he can get his hands on. For those of you I know are reading, something little for you out of my unpublished stack of old sheets.

Something I was thinking about

This is not a sad song
This is not a glad song
This is not a poem either
It’s something I was thinking about
And it has to do with you and me

No it’s not a story, its not a folklore
But it’s a fantasy where I find myself
Sitting for hours
Where all I see is you
And all I hear is some north wind breezing

I’d like to say that it’s a song
Song for you, for two hearts
Beating only as one
But it’s something I was thinking about
And it has to do with you and me
And let no one call me

For all I see is you
And all I want to see is you.

Certainly, it’s no SIT, but still a pretty solid movie. Hopefully you found some of it to be enjoyable. If nothing else, it’s good to see Mr. Savage again!

Absolutely, I think some of the humor and sword fight scenes were good.
