Meri Waaqif Hai
September 20th, 2007
It seems that my Writer’s Block is finally over. I am actually able to put my thoughts onto paper now. For last few days that is what I have tried to do and lo & behold a Nazm has been born each time. And quite amusingly my last 2 have come while I was washing my face in the bathroom. Quiet an odd place to think of a poem.
I went ahead and recited the Nazm for couple mates who can’t read Hindi. Also recorded a little improvised melody in the background. Padhne ka shukriya! Here is the Link to the MP3 of the recitation.

WOW the ethos of the poem reflect the sensitivity of the poet …. and since i know the background of the poem.. this shows the poets ability to step into the shoes of the subject and feel the pain.Urdu pronunciation is awesome.kid u write well…;)wonder what will you write about when you grow up…:D
