Here is a song that I recorded on April 8th, the day I moved out of my Lansing apartment. I spent almost four and a half years there and have many memories of the times I spent there. It is a very old song, probably from the 40s. This is Slim Whitman’s version. You may be able to hear Wind chimes in the background as my door was open and winds were mighty strong that evening. Enjoy!
Words:
Strolling by the love-lanes of yesterday
It’s so sweet to me a memory with you
Do you remember when you said you loved me
And you promised to be my dear wife
There’s a path that leads back to that dear old shack
Those hours I’ll never for-get
Strolling down the love-lanes of yesterday
It’s so sweet to me a memory with you
There’s a path that leads back to that dear old shack
Those hours I’ll never forget
Strolling by the love-lanes of yesterday
It’s so sweet to me a memory with you.
