For The Good Times

It’s been a while since I’ve updated the blog, so heres’s another one of my recent recordings from couple weeks ago. This one is an old classic “For the good times”.
When you’re back home and I’m far away
I’d still be thinking of days that were..

Words:

Don’t look so sad, I know it’s over.
But life goes on, and this old world will keep on turning.
Let’s just be glad we had some time to spend together.
There’s no need to watch the bridges that we’re burning.

Lay your head upon my pillow.
Hold your warm and tender body close to mine.
Hear the whisper of the raindrops,
Blowin’ soft against the window,
And make believe you love me one more time,
For the good times.

I’ll get along; you’ll find another,
And I’ll be here if you should find you ever need me.
Don’t say a word about tommorrow or forever,
There’ll be time enough for sadness when you leave me.

Lay your head upon my pillow.
Hold your warm and tender body close to mine.
Hear the whisper of the raindrops,
Blowin’ soft against the window,
And make believe you love me one more time,
For the good times.

I had the good time of listening to FOR THE GOOD TIMES. It’s wonderful to listening to it again and again.

In general, Dhar I like to visit your website in aparnaonline.com to travel a while into A POET’S HEART. This poet’s heart is moving me to listen or view your programmes often. I like the Journey Into A Poet’s Heart.

Thank you very much for giving me the opportunity to know about a good poet’s heart by journeying into A Poet’s Heart as I wish.

All the Best to You dear Poet,

    T.A. RAMESH
