Although I do not believe that the English language can ever be used to translate Urdu Poetry, but here we go: And when I found myself in life I found a path laid ahead With whims of people around me Was it a night of darkness or solitude? The desert took away my dreams And Yet I kept on and on Still my destiny's story stayed buried within And the fame of my fall befell my Nazms The world found me to blame O beloved, even you I wish, had looked in the emptiness I carry With your eyes that I can't explain Although my eyes are hollow and dark You'll find a Poet's muse lurking within A story to be sung in ages to come Shall drown today in the sea of sorrows Now the night is almost gone, pray bury me now And O my friends, I long to be alone For, one last time I'll close my eyes..
