Basically a beautiful sonnet by Dr. Rahi Masoom Raza who also happened to write the dialogues of the epic serial Mahabharat by B. R. Chopra.

baadal kya hain
paani ke kuch pyaase qatre
ghar se nikle
bal uljhe
talwon mein chaale
basti-basti
sehra-sehra
hothon ke registanon ko dhoond rahen hai
sheesh its hard to write hindi/urdu in roman script
ashwini, he wrote lots of great movies, too like mili, lamhe, alaap etc
he also wrote many songs for alaap- including chand akela
you should also check out his amazing book”aadha gaon”
well what to say about this great man.he was my nana (grandfather).im so impressed and so proud by his personality.he is a great poet ,great writter and needless to say a great man.
