Sarfaroshi ki Tamanna

..Ab hamaare dil me hai”. With these words, we remember Ramprasad Bismil, who was a brave revolutionary and gave up his life smilingly for the sake of Indian Freedom Struggle against British Rule.In a poem written just before going to the gallows, he prays:

‘Oh Lord! Thy will be done. You are unique. Neither my tears nor I will endure. Grant me this boon, that to my last breath and the last drop of my blood, I may think of you and be immersed in your work.’

One stanza included in the poem towards the end is not from the original poem but taken from the movie Rang De Basanti, which I included for no particular reason whatsoever.

    can u understand who were given the ultimate sacrifice, they were the yourhs who could enjoyed the white, but they enjoyed be remain indian. I proud myself to be an indian. I call all indians to pass this song to every indian by any means to understand the sacrifice made by our people.
    Let our politicians understand this. May god allow to recitate this song in indian pariliament every day before session.
    Be proud of an indian.
