Chand Ash’aar
April 20th, 2006
Here are some ash’aar that I recently read. The first one really blew me away. Faakir has shown the plight of the heart of an unrequitted lover and the way he portrays the color of Mehndi on beloved’s hands — simply remarkable! Second one is on the same lines. Third one is speaks highly of poetic imagination. Whereas the fourth one, although using the most simple language, can flash some lost moments in front of many of us. Enjoy reading!

After reading “chand aankhon ka….” by ‘Faqir’, i couldn’t resist to write one of his creation which i like very much…..
aaj ke daur mein ai dost ye manjar kyon hai
zakhm her sar pe, har ek haath mein patthar kyon hai
jab haqeeqat hai ke her zarre mein tu rehata hai
phir zameen per kahin masjid kaheen mandir kyon hai
apna anjaam to maloom hai sab ko phir bhi
apni nazaron mein her insaan sikander kyon hai……
Thanks.
