Hontho ko see ke dekhiye pachhtaiye-gaa aap
Hangaame jaag uThte hain aksar ghutan ke baad

Gurbat ki thandi chaanv me yaad aayi uski dhoop
Qadr e watan hui hame tarq e watan ke baad

Insaan ki khwahishon ki koi intehaa nahi
Do gaz zameen chaahiye do gaz kafan ke baad
