Things that make us laugh, things that make us cry
Watch the river turning, watch that eagle fly
So I sing for you and here’s the reason why
Memories live forever, these things can never die

Dreams that paint a picture, dreams that make us sway
Through the shades of seasons, oh from night till day
So I sing for you and all I have to say
Ties that bind together, they will always stay

Tears that shake the heavens, tears that come at night
Hold our faith together till things, they’re all right
So I sing for you, my love, with all my might
I’ll be here forever with a wish to hold you tight

Life can get you down, life can make you grow
While the world’s turning, while the waters flow
I’ll be there to sing if you’re feeling low
And till my heart’s beating, I’ll always love you so

So live your life with joy and may you never cry
Soar the skies with laughter, spread your wings and fly
I’ll still sing for you when life has passed me by
Memories of this love, I know, will never die.
